| | | Can I help? Hi
I have a computer, scanner, printer, an attention to detail and unlimited time.
Until last year I worked for the National Library for the Blind, as a volunteer, scanning and proofreading books to add to their braille library. Unfortunately the department was closed down, and my work was no longer needed. Being made redundant from a voluntary job is odd, believe me.
So - is there any voluntary work I can do? I guess proofreading is my job description - but I can probably turn my hands to anything - keying in data, researching, um, I don't know - but perhaps you do?

| | | Re: Can I help? The best thing to do would be to contact your local Wildlife Trust and Biological Records Centre, and see what they have available. I'm pretty sure they'd be more than grateful of your offer to do some unpaid work. |

JennyS - I've joined the BSBI - it's a fascinating project - and right up my street! Thank you.
