Orchard Survey Volunteers Wanted

Dear all

People's Trust for Endangered Species are now in the final year of producing the national inventory for traditional orchards and need your help!

We have spent hours searching maps and aerial photographs for orchards which now need to be surveyed. With spring on its way now is the ideal time to contribute to a national project to conserve your traditional orchards.

I started working on this last year. However there was about 3 orchards I was given to survey that I didnt have time to visit. can i still submit my findings?

Yes, if you have done the surveys then send me the results and we can add them to the inventory.

I have an old orchard in my back garden with a lot of different apple trees. Unfortunately most are dead or dying now, but there might be something there, though nothing tasted that good, except the ones I call winesaps. They are lovely. You can come, or send someone local if you are interested in taking samples.
