| | | Looking to gain some ecology experience in Cornwall Hey
I graduated with an ecology degree in 2008 and have done a months training at an ecology firm in Devon, but I am looking to gain some further field experince this ecology season. I have tried a few firms but have yet to receive a reply. I was wondering if anyone could help or knows anyone in the west of Cornwall that could let me gain some experience with them.
I am interested in doing some dormouse training as well
thank you |

| | | Re: Looking to gain some ecology experience in Cornwall Yeh I have contacted them so many times but never hear anything back. The only ecology firms I have heard from do not take people on for work experience and Cornwall is a little limited to firms as it is. |

| | | Re: Looking to gain some ecology experience in Cornwall Have you joined IEEM? Have a look on their website and you can find training courses for dormouse etc. It would be good to do a course or two while you're looking, so that you don't have blanks on the CV. IEEM also carry job adverts. |

| | | Re: Looking to gain some ecology experience in Cornwall Hey,
The course is the same and run by the same person but i am going to book onto the one on the 29th June through IEEM as it will cost £70 if I book before April ( http://www.ieem.net/20100629dormouse.asp)
where are you thinking of moving to in the South West? | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
