| | | Shropshire wildlife work experience? Hi guys
To be brief I have work experience next year (or this year from September) and I would rather know what im doing so I dont leave it to last minute. I'm hoping I could do something to do with wildlife as I want to become a zoologist. I'm not interested in going to a zoo as im not a big fan of captive animals (for entertainment) and I was wondering if anyone thinks that the Shropshire wildlife trust could offer me some work experience maybe helping out in managing the landscape through cropping and such or even just helping out with surveys?
Many thanks
In the meanwhile i will try to contact them. |

Good luck with this - Shropshire wildlife trust sounds like a great bet to get some field experience - you could also try things like your local RSPB reserve.
I studied Zoology.....you'd be suprised how many people ask if i want to be a zoo keeper....i don't

Just a thought, but why not become a volunteer for your local trust? Not sure how things are run in Shropshire but here in Bewdley the volunteers of the Wyre Forest get together for a few hours on every last Sunday of the month doing various tasks throughout the seasons and all is required of you besides you willing to help out is a small donation of food for the well deserved BBQ after a fulfilling mornings toil!
Like wild_as_kate suggests why not try the RSPB for your works experience placement that way you get the best of both worlds, giving you more options as to your career!
best regards
