Hello

I work with the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) and I'm currently on the lookout for volunteers to help with practical conservation activities (from pond management and balsam pulling to nature trail construction and hedgelaying) and would warmly welcome any enquiries from interested individuals in the Doncaster region. Sites we are currently working at include the fantastic Potteric Carr reserve nearby (home to the occasional Bittern and Black-necked Grebe!).

I already volunteer three days a week for the Kent wildlife trust..but im off to uni in sept so that will drop to one day a week but i do plan in the breaks and holidays to go on some of these working holidays...they look great fun and way to meet more like minded people and see more of our fantastic countryside a little further from home
