We are looking for a full-time Wildlife Care Assistant at Vale Wildlife Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre, on the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border.
Vale is one of the largest wildlife hospitals in the country, caring for between 4,500 - 5,000 casualties every year.
The job involves daily cleaning out, feeding, administering treatments, assessing casualties, attending call-outs, dealing with the public, taking telephone calls for advice & much, much more.
As the Hospital is manned 24 hours a day, Care Assistants take it in turns to do overnight on-calls, staying overnight in the Hospital.
The work can be extremely demanding, especially at this time of year, but can also be very rewarding.
This is not the job for you if you want a stress-free 9-5 job!!
