I went to the open day today for the apprenticeships and it was a great day. The people were lovely and helpful but i really dont htink its going to happen. While they understood why i couldnt really do much over night travel i think it would show a better impression if i were able to do it. I would need to spend up to 6 months in Inverness if i got the chosen apprenticeship. And other places for the other 6 months.

Ooh I had a look at those apprentiships, there wasn't a taxonomic group I really wanted to do though, maybe next year. Which group was it your were interested in? Why would there be over night travel though? I thought it was in one place for a certain amount of time and then you went somewhere else to work with another expert? Good luck with it though!
