| | | Wildlife Photographer Me again
Could anyone give me some tips on being a wildlife photographer. I need to start looking for a summer job and I'm just posting to ask for suggestions really. It's not that I cannot be bothered to look for myself, it's that there's so many people here with experience in Wildlife and photography. What is the best thing for a 'wannabe wildlife photographer' to do as a summer job? I'd happily do work for the forestry commission, it doesn't have to involve photography and on the contrary, I'd happily work for a photographer or sell my own work to make my money throughout the summer. I've considered volunteering, but when it boils down to reality, I love experience, but I need to get by during the summer weeks. Hopefully I can make some money on the side by selling some images of mine once my website gets sorted.
I need to get my name about. Maybe as a young Wildlife photographer from Norfolk, and believe me, I've emailed many people enquiring about displaying my work and asking how to get my name about, but I've not had much positive response.
I just don't know what to do

| | | re: Wildlife Photographer There was a job in the guardian environment pages last week for a seasonal wildlife photographer - wildlife trust of west wales i think, tho i wouldnt swear to it - they werent paying a lot so it is unlikely to attract pros , but it would imagine that it will still be hotly contested bu people such as yourself.

Full details on the CJS Daily online site (search using Countryside Jobs Service or CJS).
Good luck.
