Pauline | In my previous life (pre-teacher), I was a ranger for a local authority and to be honest the job proved a bitter disappointment, mainly due to needless bureaucracy and numbskull management. Prior to my career change and return to university, I came to the profound conclusion that all work is rubbish and I might as well pick a job with good holidays. I like walking about, so when the mortgage is paid off, I'm thinking of becoming a postman! Or even better, a postman who has a van and drives round to remote farmhouses, supping cups of tea and stuffing my face with cakes made by the farmers wife.
Anyway Nick, I am glad you have made a firm decision. That alone is a step in the right direction and I hope it all works out for you.
Regards, Chris

Regards, Chris | Heh! heh! Brilliant Chris - now that's what I wanted to say - but I'm still employed in the job (just!)

Pauline | My poor missus despairs at my lack of ambition! Thankfully though, she is very patient and tolerant of my idleness!
