| | | Re: Hello...from Tosca The true Quince - Cydonia oblonga, is a large, yellow, pear-shaped fruit quite different to the fruit on Chaenomeles, (Japanese Quince), and is considered to be far superior in flavour having a very strong perfumed flesh. Traditionally it was made into either a candy or jam, small amounts were then added to dishes as a flavouring.
