I know I should not ask for ID of this flower on this forum!!!! as the flower is from Mexico....but I am desperate to find the name,and I have tried everywhere else for help!!!!! is more than a year that I`m trying!!!! maybe one of the fantastic experts here can help me....and make me happy for the new year!!!!

It's not a plant I recognise. I have spent some time trying to pin it down, so far without success.

I'm wondeing if it's not a species of Bougainvillea, or something closely related. Bougainvillea originates from Central and South America and there are several species other than the common B. spectabilis and several closely related genera.
If you look at this photo of Bougainvillea spectabilis you'll notice the tiny pale yellow flowers among the coloured bracts as in Tosca's Mexican plant.
As near as I can get for now.

| | | Re: Hello!!!!!! :-) Thank you Dorts for your research!!!! you are right, the flowers look very similar to the Bougainvilleas!!! but is very unlikely.... as the flowers are thick and heavy wile the Bougainvilleas are like paper!!! and this is a shrub and not a climbing plant, but maybe they are related!!!! Thank you anyway for research!!!
