Usually in the south-west they will not flower in the winter and start flowering again in February but there are still a few in flower now.

Plenty of Gorse in flower as well, much more than normal.

| | | Re: Another early spring flower Plenty of lesser Celandine seen on a walk today, also white Deadnettle, Dandelion and red Campion.
Last week I saw a Mullein in full flower beside a main road.
In my garden the Abelia is still in flower, along with winter Honeysuckle, Mahonia and Japanese Quince. A few Daisies and Ivy-leaved Toadflax too.
