ID confirmation please
Could this be Hog's Fennel?

Found along the beach cliffs at Swanage and on top of Old Harry's Rock.




...I did forget to bruise & smell, so would it have smelt of aniseed?

Hog's Fennel is incredibly rare with sites in Essex + Kent.

This is Rock Samphire, Crithmum maritimum.
