Foxglove or not

Ive had this down as a Foxglove, now i am told it isnt a Foxglove, although the person who told me didnt know what it was, i did think it odd it only has one flower but the pattern inside the head looks like foxglove, what is it please if its not a Foxglove thank you...Ray

Not a Foxglove Ray.
It looks like one of the Calamints, (Clinopodium sp.). It could be Common Calamint, which is native, (though it looks a bit like Greater Calamint which isn't).
Your plant would have had many more flowers, but they have all finished, leaving just the one.

Thank you Dorts yes in the book it does look like Common i think

I think this is maybe a garden escape x, calamints are usually hairy, and in the photo the plant is very shiny, even the seedpods. Also the markings on the petals are white, not darker blotches.

Yes i have taken plenty of them, but the one i showed only has one flower which i havnt seen before but it has the pattern inside the head pretty simular to the foxglove
