Mark, it's Chicory - Cichorium intybus. It's our only native blue-flowered dandelion-type plant.

Down there at the lake on Wednesday.Lots of watermint seen but not the chicory.Nice blue though...aDm..P.S.J area.

I found this at the picnic site by the cafe , its growing to the right of the parking sign (the dam end)
