I have found some moss in a flower pot....looking very close I could see some microscopic flowers... I wonder if they have a name.....does anyone know???

| | | Re: I found this flowers in a damp pot, I think is moss, have they got a name? Yes, John is right, it is a Liverwort, possibly Marchantia polymorpha, a common species of poor-drained soils. But like John, I am no expert.
The 'flowers' are what are called the male umbrellas; the female parts look like a little nest of eggs. 
A lovely, very primitive plant.
