| | | Re: Flower id please I'd say it was Thyme-leaved Sandwort Arenaria serpyllifolia but the photo doesn't show quite enough detail to be certain. Where did you find it? |

| | | Re: Flower id please Yes, I agree with Milner Ecology, Thyme-leaved Sandwort. Quite a variable species depending on its habitat; often low and straggly on dry chalky and sandy ground; flower-clusters are often much denser and upright when growing near the sea

| | | Re: Flower id please The reason I wanted to know the differenc was when I was younger my Dad use to ask me to get Chickweed for his budgies,obviously I use to get the rong plant.As my Dad is sadly not with us now it looks like got away with it. |

| | | Re: Flower id please Yes Alison, that too is Thyme-leaved Sandwort. Oval, pointed leaves clasping the straggly stems; sepals as long, or longer than the petals.
