| | | Bistort ID please I took this photo in May 2011 and know it's not amphibious Bistort as it was found miles away from water, actually at Gilbert White's House in Selborne.....well in his garden, anyway. Marvellous place to visit.
However, it doesn't look like Common Bistort either. Is it a garden escapee?
Sorry about the fuzzy photo. I'm feeling better now.

It grows wild in several meadows around Selborne.
