Celery Leaved Buttercup Question

There has been talk on WAB of the early flowering of plants due to the dry spring and then evidence of second flowering, so I am pleased that I got to see either a late flowering or second flowering of celery leaved buttercup in September.



Is this year unusual for plant behaviour?

By the way are the apples in the hedgerow unusually abundant?

There seems to be an abundance of fruit everywhere in spite of the odd spring weather. I didn't see many bees about but something pollinated my trees! Several plants have had a second flowering - an evening primrose has just flowered in its first season: usually biennial.

I had some Primulas flower again in July/August which I didn't think much of till Hedra just mentioned it....

... and the pears in my garden are truly magnificent.
