Hello Wabbsters,
I've noticed a couple of 'sprigs' of this large clover pepping through the grass in our back garden........is it red clover?

Red clover has whitish V markings on the leaves. The leaves of white clover are more rounded, so I think this is Alsike clover which has plain leaves of the pointed shape.

I think this is the variety of the Red Clovers without the distinctive 'white-mark', which are not uncommon.
(Alsike Clover has round'ish leaves which are notched at the tips).
The only other candidate is Zigzag Clover, but the leaves of that are usually longer and more pointed.
Leave it to flower and we'll have our answer, and the bees will love it!
