Violet Helleborine site in Leicestershire - Nikon remote

Hi Chaps

Sue and I were photographing Violet Helleborine at a well-known Leicestershire site and came across a Nikon remote shutter release which is now conspicuously absent from someone's camera bag. If I'd had a NIkon camera and not a Panasonic I might well have trousered it, but it is no use to me and if the owner cares to post a reply, send a PM or email me on jeffnsuehodgson@btinternet.com I'd be pleased to post it back to them.

Might post some VH photos later but the plants were well past their best with tiny flowers hardly bigger than a Dune Helleborine. In contrast, Clive photographed some at Warburg and his flowers were much bigger, larger than Broad-leaved Helleborine. I'm told that VH flower best after a wet spring and Leicestershire and the East Midlands in general were very dry this spring.

On reflection, I will post photos later as one shows some form of wasp acting as pollinator and I'd be interested to know what it is as Clives photos seem to show the same insect doing the same job at Warburg.
