Chalk grassland plant ID please
This was found on recovering chalk grass land where scrub had been removed in the last few years.

No flowers only fruits (so no idea of family or genus) and only this one example seen.



Can anyone ID this please?

It's definitely a speedwell and I'd go for Heath Speedwell Veronica officinalis.

Now I know genus to go for there is no doubt in my mind. V officianalis it is.
