| | | Re: RSPB, Nature of Farming award “The quality of species-rich areas on the farm were exceptional, a testament to the previous and current sympathetic management. I have not seen such a diverse and colourful sward at any other farm or nature reserve in Scotland before” Dr Tom Prescott, Butterfly Conservation Scotland. Treshnish Nature Log |

| | | Re: RSPB, Nature of Farming award " Mr White’s farm is home to bird species including corn bunting, lapwing, tree sparrows and yellow wagtail, As well as birds, it also supports butterflies and rare plants.
Mr White said: “Although we are primarily a commercial arable farm, we also have a passion for the wildlife we are privileged to have on our farm, and we are continually increasing the areas on the farm being managed for wildlife as the primary concern "

| | | Re: Treshnish, Nature of Farming award I'd like to know a bit more about you and your farm in a more general way before I consider voting
Where are you based?
How do you approach farming to encourage such diversity etc?
Looking forward to seeing more information. |
