Scabious help please
leaves look wrong for Small and Feild Scabious.

Yeah, the leaves look more like Scabiosa succisa (Devil's bit scabious) than Knautia arvensis (Field scabious). Flowers don't though.
I look forward to learning something when the experts respond
I love when someone points out something I'd (probably) never noticed before. I learn so much.

Steve, it is definitely Field Scabious - Knautia arvensis.
It just shows how we must always be aware that a particular plant of any species, may not always conform to the 'type'.
