| | | Agrimonia Procera Does anyone know the correct identification for this plant. I think I have found some, all characters are right but it is missing the many glands it's supposed to have. If there's another thread somewhere iv'e missed it i'm a newbie to this forum |

| | | Re: Agrimonia Procera Agrimony - Agrimonia eupatoria and Fragrant Agrimony - A. procera are very similar and frequently confused and may be found in the same areas, though Fragrant A. is far more scattered. A. procera is generally taller, stems leafier, more branched, leaves more deeply toothed. Plant is more sweetly-fragrant because the glands are more numerous than the hairs, (A. eupatoria is fragrant but only slightly so).
Flowers larger, paler-yellow. The fruits are quite distinct from A. eupatoria in being bushier with the outer spines turned-back, (down-turned).

| | | Re: Agrimonia Procera Thanks: that is what I find with these except the glands which must be there even if they are almost invisible. I would upload a photo(from my mobile) but I have not found out how to do this yet.I suspect it is var: sepium. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
