Bottom line is Devil's-bit Scabious
I guess it was a fairly damp grassy heath ? |

1. Common Knapweed - Centaurea nigra agg.
2. Devilsbit Scabious - Succisa pratensis.

What a wonderful deep blue colour. Would this be because of the habitat where it was found or is this in the normal range for Devil's Bit Scabious?
I've only ever seen the pale mauve to deeper purple.
