is this a dandelion???

Hi. A very silly question I am sure but, is this a dandelion. the flowers are so different. not only red but a very different composition.

Yes it is a Dandelion. And what a strange flower, never seen anything like it. Should go on the 'aberrant' plants board.

There are hundreds of different kinds of Dandelions and to certain people this plant may be of some interest. Would you have any objection if I sent copies of your photo's for an experts opinion?
