| | | Re: Confirm Cornfield Knotgrass please Steve, it's Knotgrass - Polygonum aviculare which is very variable and narrow-leaved forms are often mistaken for Cornfield Knotgrass which is only very locally common.
Cornfield Knotgrass - P. rurivagum has very narrow pointed leaves and distinctive longer red-brown sheaths. Only found on arable limy fields.
