| | | Id Small Blue Flower Hi,
My wife found this flower in our garden, and we have been unable to identify it.
I unfortunately managed to strim it while cutting the lawn recently and have an uncomfortable feeling it may be quite rare.
We live on the edge of the Mendip hills in Cheddar.
If any of you can identify it we would be most grateful.
Many thanks,
Rich Munday. |

| | | Re: Id Small Blue Flower Welcome to WAB Rich.
As Tiggrx has said, it's Chinese Forget-me-not, sometimes called Chinese Hound's-tongue and related to our native Hound's-tongues.
It's a biennial, so unfortunately, if you've cut the flower off, thats probably the end of that plant, but there may well be more plants/seed to come again next year.
