| | | Lamiaceae for ID Growing in waste ground NW Ireland. I thought it was Lamium album but can't find an example in my books with the coloured patches on the lower lobe. Square stem; hairy; occasional leaves were asymmetric at base; stigma forked at tip. Two iffy photos to help you.

| | | Re: Lamiaceae for ID I've been casting about and I think it's probably Galeopsis tetrahit.
Anyone want to confirm?

Anyone want to confirm? | I think it is as well, it would be useful to see the lower lip, but I've never seen G. bifida this colour before
cheers
Chris

| | | Re: Lamiaceae for ID Well I've just worked backwards through Francis Rose's key and I reckon it's good for G. tetrahit but I'm not filled with confidence about my abilities to deal with lobes and lips and labia and lamiaceae!

| | | Re: Lamiaceae for ID PS Thanks Chris. Forgot to say that.
This plant had little purple glands on the hairs - is that characteristic?

Common Hemp-nettle.
