Plant 5. Although not what I would call a 'typical' N-L.M, it does have a certain amount going for it, narrow, fairly upright leaves, markings and shape of lip are about right for this variable species, but again, there is still some sign of Early M. with the noticable folded-back lips, especially noticable on the lower florets.
So I would be prepared to go 75% Narrow-leaved Marsh.
I know it can be frustrating Jeff, but these orchids are at the opposite end of the scale compared to say Poppies when it comes to making a definitive ID, and with some plants it is just not possible.

| | | Re: Marsh Orchids for ID please Plant 5, for me, shows characteristics of both Early Marsh (ssp. pulchella) and NL Marsh. Definitely a potential hybrid as these Dactys are very promiscuous!
As for the plant I originally identified as Northern Marsh, I will concede on closer examination, it looks to be an Early Marsh (albeit a rather purplish plant). Northern Marsh is more a plant of dune slacks up that way anyway
