Can't get access to the roof as yet, so no closeup, but could anyone have a guess at what the taller plants with the blue/mauve flowers are. This is from the school I work at and the newer parts of the building (about 2 years old) have 'green' technology and I think this bed allows some of the rain to be filtered before going into the recycling system to flush the loos. (I'm working on permission to use the loft ladder etc so that I can have at least a peek over the side.)

| | | Re: What's on the green roof Although it looks Delphinium-like, I have to agree with Tiggrx and Viper's-bugloss.
Delphinium generally has a large part of the lower stem devoid of flowers.
