I would add "unpleasant" to that - what gardening books describe as "aromatic" when it would be dishonest to say "scented" or "perfumed"!

managed to find the write up in my Collins Gem now I know the name, petals of the flower just looked a little different. I found the book reviews helpful in the earlier posts and will be keeping my eyes open for a copy or two.

I've just stumbled across this thread, hence the reply being months after the original post. Many people class this as a weed, and it does tend to take over a bit if you're not careful. But it's well worth keeping if you can - the bees absolutely love it
