3 is Hemp Agrimony
5 is Common Comfrey
7 is Amphibious Bistort
I would wait for others to confirm/correct any of my ID`s

| | | Re: Eight for ID please! Thanks Pam. I did wonder if 7 was Amphibious Bistort, it's cropped up on WAB a couple of times before. I don't have my books with me here in Huntingdon (I work away from home during the week) so I can't easily check things out. It's usually quicker to come straight to WAB anyway! |

I suspected 4 was a type of Loosestrife. The Marsh Sow-thistle was quite abundant, and some of it was about 7ft tall.
Most of them are new to me, so it's been a very successful evening!
I've just remembered there was a ninth for ID ...

As you can see, it was growing straight out of the water (a ditch in the fen). |

| | | Re: Eight for ID please! Thanks again, Pam! Its certainly a new one for me.
I haven't been to Wicken Fen for years - I went a couple of times when I lived in Suffolk for many years. I'll have to visit it again sometime soon. |
