| | | Shade/semi shade perennial plants for wildlife garden Can anyone please recommend me any perennial plants that are suitable for shade/semi shade conditions and that would be good for a wildlife garden(or a website with a list)preferably attractive plants if possible but dont necessarily have to be(they will look better than plain soil!)
Many thanks |

It depends where you want to put them and the soil type and important what you like, its no good planting things what you dont like.
Can you describe the area and if possible take some pics as its easier to see from pics..
Is it only flowers or shrubs and climbers what are you looking for.
I found this link it looks interesting as it tells you what the plants are good for. Wildlife Extra - Garden Wildlife - Plant list for a wildlife garden.

Many thanks | There are many possibilities for semi shade but full shade is a lot more challenging - answers to Kayleigh's list of questions are important to be able to give you any sensible response, to that list I'd add whether you are talking about 'dry shade' - around the roots of mature trees for example - or 'moist shade' - e.g a dampish area on the north side of a building ?
