| | | Re: possible an Arabis? There are so many similar cruciferous plants that this could be, but without a view of leaves and height it's difficult to name it. Could be a Bunia or type of stock, but one needs to see the seedpods to be sure. Did it have a distinct scent, hairy stems, etc? The heartshaped petals make me think Bunia sp. |

| | | Re: possible an Arabis? If I saw this in the UK, my first thought would have been Sea Rocket, Cakile maritima. I don't think it's that exact species, but a close relative (of which, according to Wikipedia, there are a few in Europe and North America) seems a reasonable starting point.
I'm afraid, though, my knowledge of plants is strictly British (& British aliens), so I'm not going to venture any further opinion |
