It is similar to broomrape but the petals don't look as jagged...

No - Broomrapes do not have chlorophyll so their leaves are not green  I suspect it is a relative of the mints or self-heals etc  |

I assume this is Italy again and so Hedera is right, I think it is Salvia verbenaca, as ChrisR said a relative of the mints etc.
