Hi everyone, Is this Charlock? It is flowering now on wasteland in Brum

Isn`t it late if it is

Yes, Charlock with the two types of leaf, lower ones hairy and upper entire.
Still soome around here flowering. Must be the weather!

Yes, definitely Charlock. It can flower year-round; I saw some fully out on Christmas Day last year

Quite a few common weeds do; you can usually find White & Red Dead-nettle out in mid-winter, Thale Cress is another one that rarely has an off-season and I remember seeing Hogweed & Black Mustard out last December. There are also a few species that are designed to flower late; the population of Late Michaelmas-daisy (Aster x versicolor) naturalised at Abbey Wood Station near me was in full bloom just before Christmas last year

I got cow parsley out in January and that was last year during those frosts

It soon went though
