yellow flower id please

Sorry for over exposed photo from my phone.I Have tried looking up this flower which was between 2 and 3 feet tall.Quite large yellow flowers.I have looked at common mullein but not sure as they are new to me.Found on rough ground a few metres from the bristol avon river.

It's a species of Evening Primrose, Oenothera sp, which can be tricky to do because of hybridisation. As I can't see much detail I'll leave it at that!

It's an Evening-primrose, Oenothera sp.; from the picture I can't be sure, but I'd say it's Large-flowered Evening-primrose (Oenothera glaziovana). I cover the River Avon area myself, and O. glaziovana is quite a common introduction there (although Common E-P, O. biennis & Small-flowered E-P, O. cambrica, are also both in flower there at the moment)
