| | | Help identifying plant please Can anyone identify these rascals? They are growing by the side of the lakes at Mere Brow, near Southport. When I cut one open it had three columns of small, flat seeds in the inner pith. The pods are about 3 inches long and an inch across. |

| | | Re: Help identifying plant please I can't see the leaves in the photo, but they look like the fruits of Yellow Flag, Iris pseudacorus, which would be a common species growing by lakes. |
