Flower id please
We saw this last evening. It stood about three feet high and, at very first glance, from a distance looked like a thistle. Hope there is enough leaf detail to aid ID. Can't seem to find it in our books.

It's Phacelia tanacetifolia.. fern leaf phacelia... a Californian plant, but it seems to be turmning up all over the place as an arable weed... nice tho'!

It's used a lot in so-called wildflower seed-mixes.
