| | | Wildflowers for ID - ?umbellifers Hi not posted on here in a while...
got a couple of wildflowers i need help with ID for. Both plants were growing on the cliffs of Handa island (off the NW coast of Scotland and well worth a visit). I was pretty sure both were umbellifers but cant seem find anything that quite matches the 1st one. and the 2nd one - is it Scots lovage?
thanks |

| | | Re: Wildflowers for ID - ?umbellifers Look for the inflated bracts at the junction of the flower stem (pedicel) and the main stem of the plant - typical of Angelica.
Hogweed has a flatter top and flowers earlier. |
