Broomrapes?

With my ID skills, I'm not sure if these are Broomrapes or just dead flowers!

The first three photos are of the same plant, the third photo showing the surrounding plants.

The last photo shows a different plant a bit further along the same path.

They were all on chalk soil (they were right next to a chalk quarry!), if that helps.

Broomrapes beyond any doubt. Probably Common Broomrape Orobanche minor

Definitely Broomrape and I am pretty sure that they are Common Broomrape. They are probably parasitizing the Red Clover or the Dandeliony things it's growing amongst

I was fairly sure they were Broomrape, having seen the ones Tiggrx spotted on Saturday! It's only the second time I've found them myself.
