Plant question

Walking across a bridleway today I spotted quite a lot of what looked like Euphorbia growing in the crops of the fields would they be Euphorbia or something else, does this plane grow wild.

How big Elaine? If it's small it could be sun spurge which is a very common annual

quite small never noticed them before about a foot I would say though not too good on sizes lol.

There are quite a few native Euphorbia species + several others grown as garden plants that naturalise occasionally. Any photos for an ID?

Were they growing as small individual plants or a colony?
