I wondered if someone could help me to ID this: 
I have a long list of what I think it isn't... but that's about all!

Welcome to WAB Moreth . Now you've got Hedge Woundwort ( Stachys sylvatica) under your belt, look out for Marsh Woundwort ( Stachys palustris) and Field Woundwort ( Stachys arvensis)....assuming you haven't already spotted them. There are two other native British woundworts but they are exceedingly rare and most of us can only dream about finding them! |

I certainly will! I was wandering around in the Lamium genus and wondering why it wasn't working for me!
I've recently moved location - so it seems I have a whole lot of new plants to find. What could be better in life? |

Next time you see this woundwort rub the leaf & give it a sniff.. you'll always remember the smell & it makes id'ing this plant easy! |

Given how often I tell my Significant Other to smell a plant, I'm amazed I didn't do that. *Doh* |

It does ming though- Moreth don't breathe too deep. Believe it or not some people like the smell.
