Two from Portland for ID please.

These two were on rough ground in an old quarry towards the southern end of Portland. Both were ground hugging (there's probably a proper word for that, but I don't know it!) and the white one was quite abundant.

1 looks like wild thyme, that's a lovely detailed photo you've took
I don't know what 2 is

Thanks, Metalfish. I did wonder about wild thyme when I did a cursory look in my book. Thanks for the kind comment about the pic too.

The white one is privet, but I'm not sure if it's the wild or the garden sort

Possibly, maybe, Privet flowers. Either Wild Privet, Ligustrum vulgare, or Garden Privet, Ligustrum ovalifolium.

Thanks Treecreeper and Pleb. I've always thought of privet in the form of a hedge and as this was so low to the ground it seemed unlikely to be the same thing.
