| | | ID flowering grass Hi,
Came across this in an old meadow, with at least half a dozen types of grass, it has a pink/red flower initially and is amongst vetch, but is not in our readers digest or the Gallery.
Sorry had to pick it, my brownie 125 won't focus that well.
Max.

| | | Re: ID flowering grass That might be grass vetchling, fraid I've gotta say it- please don't pick the wildflowers I'm sure you don't usually, even more important if it's something you don't recognise or see often |

| | | Re: ID flowering grass Yes, Grass Vetchling, Lathyrus nissolia. Flowers are normally much brighter than this. Locally it's having an excellent season- I've never seen so much! |

| | | Re: ID flowering grass Hi aeshna5,
Yep, the flowers are much brighter, it's the only reason I noticed it, I'll blame my cheap camera for the colours, and if I'd tried to photo it in situ, you wouldn't see the wood for the trees. as all the surrounding grass is approaching 5 feet tall.
Max.
