Wildflower leaves showing through

I've yet to see any wildflowers in bloom this year.

But at least some leaves are starting to appear - if only I knew what they were!

I think the first two are the same:









I did see some Snowdrops and Winter Aconites in bloom today - but they were just yards from a garden from which they'd obviously escaped!

I think you have:-

1&2 Cuckoo Pint/Lords and ladies (with leaves from 1 of your favourites- herb robert on picture no.2)
3 Greater Stitchwort
4 cleavers/goose grass

Thanks Jez - I did wonder if it was Cuckoo-pint, it was certainly in a location where I've seen that before.

I can't wait for Spring to arrive!

Chin up!... I was down on the South Devon Coast this morning, and there's primroses, violets and celendines out... it won't be long before yours are too!

I find it very uplifting when I see plants poking through the soil after Winter. You have some fantastic pics of Wildflowers, birds and butterflies on your site Pete.
