Two Lake District Wildflowers for ID

I took both of these photos in the Lake District in July 2008. The first yellow flower I think is a type of poppy. They were both growing in a verge beside the road. IDs please.

The second is enchanter's nightshade I unfortunately don't know the first

The first is Welsh Poppy, Meconopsis cambrica - where I see it, it tends to be a garden escape or introduction, but in the Lake District it could well be native.

its worth checking if it is Alpine or Intermediate enchanters nightshade! that would be something

Not very likely in the average garden!
