| | | And a Final 2 Wildflowers for ID Please First is one of the Cabbage family
Found on sand dunes at Southport 28/08/08
Second might possibly be common hemp nettle
Found near Stocks Reservoir (Gisburn Forest) 07/08/08.
The whole plant was about 400mm tall - each flower maybe 10mm long at most.
Regards

| | | Re: And a Final 2 Wildflowers for ID Please The crucifer looks a lot like Perennial Wall-rocket, Diplotaxis tenuifolia, but you'd need to see the leaves to be sure - this is what the whole plant looks like:
The second one, as has already been said, is Common Hemp-nettle |

Unfortunately, I didn't take any more pics of the crucifer, so I guess I'll never be absolutely certain on that one. (One of those where I "knew" what it was when I took the pic, but it wasn't what I thought when I got the pic onto the computer).
I thought that the other was common hemp nettle, but the whole plant, and the flowers especially seemed to be slightly smaller than others I'd recently seen.
Regards
